I worked on a TV show starring Fran Drescher, and she required that we buy special water cups made out of corn instead of plastic, for drinking on set. It seemed unnecessarily expensive, until we found out she was a cancer survivor, and believed BPA in plastic water bottles caused cancer. (And there's a lot of research to support that.)
